Anca Dragan is the Director of AI Safety and Alignment at Google DeepMind. She is on leave from
the University of California, Berkeley, where she is an associate professor in the Electrical Engineer-
ing & Computer Science department. Her goal is to enable AI agents to work with, around, and in support of people. She has been honored by the Sloan Fellowship, MIT TR35, the Okawa award, an NSF CAREER award, and the PECASE award.
