Hunter Hinson

Hunter Hinson is the Research and Policy Program Coordinator at the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University. His work supports the Institute’s research initiatives and policy advocacy efforts. Prior to joining the Institute, Hinson worked as an Honors Paralegal at the Federal Trade Commission where he supported litigations against Big Tech firms, including landmark monopolization cases against Meta and Amazon.

Hinson earned his B.A. in communication and political science from the University of Southern California and his M.Sc. in social science of the Internet from the University of Oxford, where he was a Shirley Scholar.
