Haley Willis

Haley Willis is an investigative journalist with a focus on combining traditional reporting with digital and open source methods to cover the human cost of conflict, political unrest and state violence. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Journalism at Columbia University, where she has helped to develop open source reporting curricula for students. Willis most recently worked as a reporter with the award-winning visual investigations team at The New York Times. She began her career as an open source researcher and project manager with the investigations lab at UC Berkeley’s Human Rights Center.
