Hari Kunzru

Hari Kunzru is a novelist and journalist. He is the author of several acclaimed novels, including White Tears, Red Pill, and Blue Ruin, and won the 2002 Betty Trask Award and the 2003 Somerset Maugham Award for The Impressionist. 

His essays and criticism have also appeared in The New York Review of Books, The New Yorker, Harper’s Magazine, and The New York Times. 

Kunzru teaches in the creative writing program at New York University and is a former deputy president of English PEN. He is an Honorary Fellow of Wadham College Oxford, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, and was a 2008 Cullman Fellow at the New York Public Library, a 2014 Guggenheim Fellow, and a 2016 Fellow of the American Academy in Berlin.
